A pop-up exhibit about The Thin White Duke

A day of interactive art, retro film & photos and Bowie & Iggy music. Featuring: 

David Bowie & Iggy Pop music and films with footage of Rochester in 1976

Interviews: Have a story about Bowie and the arrest which lead to his infamous mug shot? Or just something to say about the Thin White Duke? Meet the filmmakers and tell your story!

Show And Tell: Bring your photos (or your relative’s photos), slides, home movies, magazines, or any paper ephemera from the 1970’s and have them digitized for free. We’re looking for your memorabilia to put into the film. Especially if it relates to Bowie, Iggy or Rock & Roll  and Rochester in 1976

Auditions for the film: The documentary will incorporate dozens of staged recreations to tell the story of Bowie’s arrest. We’re looking for actors to portray the people involved with the story. Open call. Headshot & resume accepted but not required.
